    • to keep a record of students' performance (formative and summative assessments) in my current courses
    • to have an archive of students' performance in my courses  

    2.   Uses

    • record attendance
    • calculate grades based on weighted assignments 
    • record grades for all work submitted and evaluated
    • see test/quiz/assignment averages and indicators of below required average performance 
    • monitor students' performance daily
    • comply with program's policy on student performance warnings
